No Trafficking.com was established by Anthony M. Davis to bring awareness to the tragic issue of Human Trafficking. He has served in the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and the law enforcement and intelligence communities.
Davis was the Chief of Intelligence with the U.S. Coast Guard in Mobile, Alabama in 2001. After the terrorist attacks on September 11th, he began publishing the Homeland Security Report to law enforcement, first responders, military, government agencies and security professionals as an awareness tool.
Anthony M. Davis published and funded this project on his own time and resources for nearly 12 years. According to Davis, “Our threats have not diminished just because time has past. We have to keep our folks informed and safe.” When other resources of this nature were developed across the nation, he felt safe to drop the project and focus on other areas.
Since the founding of the Homeland Security Group, Anthony M. Davis authored the bestselling book, “Terrorism and the Maritime Transportation System“. The text is an excellent primer of the Maritime Transportation System, Cargo security and Terrorism issues. According to Davis, this book is consistent with his goals of keeping citizens informed.
All citizens can benefit from this easy read and it’s not limited to just those in law enforcement and response communities. Davis has since agreed to share proceeds of this book with the Fisher House homes for wounded Veterans.
Anthony M. Davis is also an internationally published Fine Art Photographer. His work is available for purchase HERE.
It is through sales of his photographic pieces of art and books that allow him to find new avenues to make a difference. According to Davis, “When it is all said and done, I want to have had impact.”
HUMAN TRAFFICKING
In recent years, he’s been working to provide positive input to the issue of Human Trafficking. The initial plan was to publish a book addressing the issue as an awareness resource. He was approximately 2/3 completed when he took an objective look and determined that the text wasn’t that much different than what already exists. “I read it and felt it didn’t have the impact I looked for and…I hit the DELETE key, opting start afresh.”
After the second attempt, with new direction and progress he then experienced health challenges and put it on hold. “I was making good progress and was excited by the new direction it was taking. The book is not off the table because it’s an important issue. It goes beyond a social issue – it’s a humanity issue.”
During this period of time Mr. Davis was amidst another personal and professional transformation. Through a series of circumstances, he became a Board Certified Hypnotist, having received clinical hypnotherapy training. He is Advanced trained as a 5-PATH practitioner and he’s also a Forensic Hypnotist. As a 5-PATH practitioner, he can help individuals who have experienced trauma in their lives to neutralize long-lasting fears and deep-seated angers. Both of these are foundational to the pain and internal suffering of human trafficking victims. This is where he offers value in the fight against human trafficking.
“It’s odd how the twists and turns of your life goes. Yet, when I work with clients struggling with the trauma from their history that dictates their future, I see lives change right before my eyes…and that’s where the greatest value and impact occurs – one life at a time.”
